Annual Day 2022

Shigally Hill International Academy celebrated its 17th Annual Day on the 17th of December 2022. Many eminent dignitaries were present at the annual day celebration, including the chief guest Mr. Dangwal Asst commandant ITBP and Board Members of the school.

All the students and their parents were invited to this function. The program started at 11:30 am with the school captain Arpita Gautam and Sports captain Tenzin Zompa delivering their commencement speech and the lighting of the diyas by the special guests.

The event started with the choir group mesmerizing the audience and the dignitaries with beautiful melodic welcome song. After which a traditional Lavni dance by the girls of class 7th and 8th. In the first half of the program, the students from kindergarten to Primary classes entertained everyone with their beautiful Garhwali dance and drama performances.

Soon after it, the school captain announced the commencement of the dance drama, ‘Navras’. Navras’ represented the Nine emotions that we as humans feel and undergo. The mind-blowing performance got a standing ovation and much praise from the audience.

The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. After the culmination of grand performances by the students, the program ended as the Chief guest was asked to speak a few words on the auspicious occasion. Principal Ms. Anjana Kapoor proposed the vote of thanks and extended her warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Day function.
